I'm Back....

Hi everyone!  So, as you can tell, after a long break, I'm back to posting again.  :)  Well, a lot has happened during this time.  I graduated 7th grade and am now officially an 8th grader. Woo-hoo!  I'm so happy because now I will be the oldest at school.  I get to take home-ec next year and I know that will be super fun!
On a different note, I've been addicted to the Nancy Drew mysteries lately.  (The old ones, not the new ones.)  I just finished the 5th book but the 6th book is not available at the library yet, so I, unfortunately have to learn patience and wait.
On another note, I was introduced to the wonderful world of K-POP which is Korean pop music.  I know a lot of people would find it weird that I listen to K-POP when I'm not Korean, but I think that the songs have a fun beat and are quite catchy...  Now that this is basically the only music I listen too, I decided I want to learn Korean so I might be able to understand a few things.  I'm actually making some progress! (Even if it's just a little bit.)  Some of my favorite groups are 샤이니 (SHINee), 소녀시대, (SNSD) EXO, and my favorite singer is 아이유 (IU).  In case you haven't heard this music and you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about........ then go on YouTube and check out some songs.  I suggest Sherlock and The Reason by SHINee, Paparazzi, Genie, Mr. Taxi or Gee by SNSD, Mama or History by EXO, and Good  Day by IU. (IU's voice in this one is AMAZING...)
A lot of kids at school think K-POP is weird and they make fun of it, but the only reason why they do that is because it's different from the music they listen too.  They make fun of it because they can't understand.  In my opinion, K-POP is better than most of the music in America today!  So what do you guys think of K-POP?  Tell me which groups/singers you like and which songs are your favorite.
Bye-bye!

A New Begining

Hi.
As time has gone on throughout this year so far, I have found that I don't have much time for posting any more. I know I said at the beginning of the year a goal of mine was to post more often, at least once a month. A began writing a post earlier this morning, and I saved it but went to check my posts, and I had more than 5 drafts in it. One was from August.
I couldn't believe it, I was shocked. Remember how I said I got a new doll? That was in July of last year. How I went to the American Girl Place? Same time. I haven't done the "Awesome Book Reviews" since February. Of 2011. And that was supposed to be a monthly thing. I've been busy with school, and I'm starting track on Monday...I barely have any free time to post, or when I do have free time, posting on my blog is not how I usually choose to spend it.
Long story short, I'm not making any promises. I'm not saying that I'll post every month, or that I'll do the "Awesome Book Reviews" It's not that I don't care, but by the lack of comments and pageviews I get, I wonder if anybody is really reading my blog anymore, or if anyone ever did in the first place. My plan when I started this blog in 2010 was to make it very popular, and I thought I'd post every few days, have contests, do giveaways, and make it a fun blog for others to read and share their interests, not only American Girl, but everything else, too. If you can please let me know if you're reading this blog by leaving a comment, it would make my day. Thanks for reading. Bye.

So Far This Year:

Hello girls! I just wanted to blog and say "hi" since I haven't posted yet this year!

First off, Happy 2012! This will be a great year, I think I should post more often, too. So far, this year has been pretty good!
During January, we got snow! We had one day where we had a 2-hour delay from school, so that's always good. And so far this month, we've gotten MORE snow. I'm so happy about that, I absolutely love the snow, it's so pretty.
Hmmm......what else has happened so far this year...oh yeah...
I finished "The Hunger Games" in January, and it was SOOOO good. Today, I went out and bought the second book in the trilogy, "Catching Fire" so I'll let you know how it was when I'm done with it.
I'm also reading "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer and I sat and read it yesterday for 1 hour and 10 minutes. I think you can tell that I enjoy it.
Another book I recently finished was "Fablehaven."

I seriously didn't think I would like it.

I was seriously wrong.

It was very...interesting...the only reason why I read it was for a book club at school, and I'm now reading the second book in the series. Reading over this, I should probably put this into an "Awesome Book Reviews!!!!!" post, but I guess it could fit into the "So Far This Year" post as well.
Here are some random things I've really enjoyed this year:
-Pinto bean burritos from Taco Time
-Pandas
-Violin/orchestra
-and watching the shows "Good Luck Charlie" and "19 Kids and Counting"

Today, actually, I had 1 and a half burritos from Taco Time. They were really good.

Well, friends, I am so glad I got to post! I kinda took January off, (and, ahem, most of February) but I'm really looking forward to the following year, and all of the awesome things that will come! See you later! :)
